: : NABCEP approved Solar Installer Training

The 48 hours of solar panel installer training will take place five consecutive days. Each class will include a combination of lectures, hands on solar training as well as on-the-job solar training and 2 hours of home study each night for four nights during the five day class.

New Orleans, LA --- Class will be offered May 18 - 22 from 8:00am - 5:00pm
Lafayette, LA -------- Class will be offered April 20-24 from 8:00am - 5:00pm

A five day intensive solar installer training course is now being offered by Louisiana CleanTech Network (LCTN) in partnership with the Louisiana Community and Technical College System throughout the state.

This five day - 48 hour NABCEP approved solar training course will teach the NABCEP PV Entry Level Installer Certificate of Knowledge Learning Objectives ...CLICK HERE...to read the Learning Objectives and will prepare students for the NABCEP PV Entry Level Installer Certificate of Knowledge test.

Upon the completion of the 48 hour solar training course all students will be able to apply for the NABCEP PV Entry Level Installer Certificate of Knowledge test ...CLICK HERE...to learn about the NABCEP test that will be given at a future date. The Solar installer Training will be offered at two locations at this time. More locations will be added around the state as the program grows with demand.

New Orleans - Region 1 Louisiana Technical College, Jefferson campus.


The Five day class will be held May 18-22 from 8:00am - 5:00pm

The course will be held at the Region 1 LTC Jefferson campus located on the outskirts of Orleans Parish in the suburbs of Metairie at 5200 Blair Drive off of Airline Hwy....Link to Google Map...

Lafayette - Region 4 Louisiana Technical College, Lafayette campus


The Five day class will be held in April 20-24 from 8:00am - 5:30pm

Both solar training classes will be held at the Region 4 LTC Lafayette campus. The LTC Lafayette Campus is located at 1101 Bertrand Drive in Lafayette, LA
